Gender and Sexuality

Sex-Positive Therapy
Few of us receive thorough sex education that includes navigating consent, understanding the emotional components of sex, and learning about our own desires and boundaries. In therapy, we work on those aspects of a fulfilling sexual life as well as looking at challenges you may be having and fears you’re bringing into sexual dynamics.

LGBTQIA+ Identities
I’m a queer trans man and am well versed in the social challenges, complex identity questions, and marginalization that can accompany LGBTQIA+ lived experiences. I can help you work through questions around gender and sexuality, find ways to navigate interpersonal relationships with people who struggle to understand your identity, and build self-worth in the face of oppression.

Polyamory
Polyamory has become more practiced in recent years, but it remains a complex way to build intimate relationships and needs a lot of care and attention to clear communication with everyone involved. I affirm your right to choose whatever relationship structure works for you within the boundaries of consent and will help you build healthy and supportive polyamorous relationships.

BDSM and Kink
I believe we all have the right to choose what we do with our bodies and minds, and this includes BDSM and kink practices and dynamics. Too often in the mental health field, these choices have been pathologized. You won’t find that with me.

Instead, you’ll find support in identifying your desires and boundaries and learning how to connect with others to build satisfying relationships. I have lived experience in this territory, not just book learning, so I can speak your language and affirm your interests.
